Guest session on the topic ‘Financial Literacy’ facilitated by Ms. Hina Shukla and Mr. Ankush Adhikari

Guest session on the topic ‘Financial Literacy’ was successfully conducted yesterday at Ace premises for students of MBA Evening. The session was facilitated by Ms. Hina Shukla, Assistant Relationship Officer, Citizen International Bank Limited and Mr.Ankush Adhikari, Business Development Officer, Bittiya Sallah respectively.Along with the topic itself, the session touched upon various topics such as benefits of financial literacy, practices of financial literacy in corporate houses, and many more.

All in all it was an interactive and insightful session for our graduate students.

We would like to extend our vote of thanks to Ms. Shukla and Mr. Adhikari for taking their time out to share their experiences with the students.

 

Felicitated the students of BBA and BBA-BI

Today, we felicitated the students of BBA and BBA-BI who performed exceptionally well in their last academic exams. The students who scored more than a 3.7 GPA were awarded today. Overall, we had the following students scoring more than a 3.7 in their academic exams:

  • BBA Semester III: 25 students
  • BBA-BI Semester III: 6 students
  • BBA Semester VI: 37 students
  • BBA-BI Semester VI: 4 students

Ace Institute of Management, in collaboration with USAID Tayar Nepal, successfully concluded a three-day training session on ‘Business Continuity Management’ for senior managers and department heads across the Ace group of Nepal on April 8th at the Ace premises.

This training provided participants with a valuable opportunity to reassess their business strategies in times of crisis. Over the span of three days, it facilitated a significant shift in understanding organizational resilience.

As a part of the program, Dr. Barbara Igel is here in Nepal to facilitate courses at both our schools, from April 8, in the coming academic term.

The session started with Remarks/presentation by USAID Private Sector and Integration Director Dr. Gopal Prasad Tiwari which was followed by Presentation on ‘BCM for Building Business Resilience’ presented by Mr. Suman Shakya, PSE Advisor, USAID’s Tayar Nepal.

Along with the topic itself, the session touched upon various topics such as benefits of Business Continuity Management (BCM), it’s importance in corporate houses, current scenario and many more.
