Sixit is the Co-founder and CEO of “tootle” (https://tootle.today), a ride sharing company, allowing people to share their rides on motorbikes through the use of mobile application.
Prior to establishment of this company Sixit has had over 12 years of experience working with a private telecom operator and an ‘A’ Class commercial bank in the areas of technology.
Sixit is cross-functional professional with background in both the telecom and financial services industries. His experiences range from project management, operations and business development to marketing and product definition. Over the past years of his employment he has focused exclusively on establishment of the Mobile Financial Services subsidiary of Nepal Investment Bank Ltd. (NIBL), M. Nepal. His role required extensive market research, business modeling, and stakeholder engagement to conceptualize a workable business solution to promote a shared access platform to promote financial inclusion in Nepal.
During his tenure at the bank he has also worked extensively on the design and integrating e-payment solution to various service providers for the ease of payment.
Previously as a telecom engineer with United Telecom Limited he worked with the team to introduce an entirely new CDMA technology for the first time in Nepal.
Sixit is also an adjunct Faculty at Ace Institute of Management’s MBA and Executive MBA Program for Marketing Management.
Sixit is a graduate in engineering with a major in electronics and communication. He holds a Masters in Business Administration, with gold medals awarded by Prime Minister and President of Nepal for Educational Excellence
He has been teaching Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economic Policy Analysis, Managerial Economics and Mathematical Economics at different academic levels and universities.
